Women

It is said that in the year 2000, more than 60% of women died due to pregnancy complications. In 2020, only 2% of deaths were caused by pregnancy complications (WHO). Since a woman’s body was once thought of as her own and only being used for procreation, this statistic shocked many people—it shocked me too. What did a woman do when she grew up with such an unspeakable number of regrets? Why didn't she just take better care of herself and choose someone to love? How did mothers have to die to give them the attention and affection that they needed? I couldn't imagine such pain. As a child, I wanted nothing but to be loved and wanted to be an adult who could look at my friends and family with pride and know that there were no others who felt the same way. These questions still haunt my mind sometimes. But then again, what life has taught me is to never forget that life is fragile and will always get sad at some point.
So, as much as I am scared about the future, I also feel like it's time to let go in order to be able to live it with clarity and certainty. Let's make sure we make wise decisions rather than rushing to make decisions out of fear. We need to learn how to be happy with ourselves and not worry about how we look. If you're struggling right now because you're dissatisfied with your life or yourself, try something different: maybe it's going for a walk, thinking of all the things you want to achieve, or maybe reading a funny book. Whatever it is that you want to do, just make a choice! For example, I decided to write a short story about an imaginary character who lived the most important part of his life surrounded by animals. Then I began to think of all those little animals who seemed so very happy to share him with him to gain trust and respect from their young ones. When he is going through the day and seeing the world around him, his soul feels a sense of peace and joy. His happiness also made him realize his true worth. Just don't judge and focus more on what people like rather than what actually matters (that is your inner value) and find ways to love yourself without caring about other opinions. Don't get attached to other people's opinions or rely on them. People need to listen to themselves and believe in themselves. You can say what you want to say, even if people aren't listening. When we don't listen to ourselves, what we really mean is something we do not want to hear. Make sure that your mind is open and that positive thinking keeps you moving. When it comes to self-love, it's time to stop letting the negative vibes get you down instead of pushing yourself in front of everyone else, especially if people are judging, criticizing or ignoring your feelings. Nowadays, we are surrounded by people who are already insecure and depressed and are trying to hide those feelings with something that would be considered “honest” or “right”. There should be no shame in talking about what you're feeling and showing it to the whole world. It doesn't matter what kind of behavior you'll show; being honest about it will bring you back to your level and give you a glimpse of how worthwhile you actually are.

Just be confident in yourself and be authentic, because being authentic doesn't mean you have to lie about anything. Take a deep breath and be happy with yourself. The rest will come as soon as someone is supportive of you! If you're struggling to cope with any of these topics, I hope you have found this piece helpful. I hope to see you again soon! Blessings, Peace, Love, and Humility.
